Install Virally

Download the installer, open it, and download the AI models once. Nothing else to install.

Install on Windows

  1. Download the Windows installer from the top of this site.
  2. Open it. If Windows shows Windows protected your PC, click More info → Run anyway. The installer isn't code-signed yet.
  3. Follow the steps and open Virally from the Start menu.
FFmpeg, yt-dlp and the AI engines ship inside the app. You never install them yourself.

First launch

The Welcome screen checks your computer: system, graphics card, memory, free disk and tools. Each row turns green or tells you exactly what's missing.

  • If the Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime is missing, the row gives you a download link.
  • Your files go to Documents/Virally (Projects, Models, Image Lab). You can change it later in Settings → Storage.

Download the AI models

Open Settings → AI models and download the models marked Recommended: about 15 GB in all, once. Nothing downloads without you clicking.

Already have models from Ollama or Hugging Face? Click Scan this computer and Virally reuses them.

macOS

The Mac version (macOS 13.4+, Apple Silicon) is coming soon. This site will offer it as soon as it's ready.
